Biography

Odilbek Manabov is a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Sustainable Development within the Institute for Advanced International Studies (IAIS), specializing in strategic policy research and political analysis. He has authored analytical and academic papers on regional governance, public policy, and international affairs. As part of his professional trajectory, Odilbek held a research affiliation with the Centre for American Studies at IAIS, where he contributed to thematic studies on U.S. global engagement, with a particular emphasis on the Middle East. Odilbek holds a Master’s degree from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and brings a wealth of cross-sectoral experience, spanning academia, the private sector, consulting, and development projects with the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and the UN’s International Organization for Migration.

 

His areas of expertise include public policy, sustainable and economic development, water governance, Middle Eastern politics, and multilateral project coordination. He currently also serves as the Deputy Project Manager in a World Bank institutional modernization effort.

 

With expertise in Power BI and Tableau, Odilbek refines data analysis and visualization, generating more actionable policy insights.

 

Alongside receiving the Albukhary Foundation International Scholarship (Malaysia), Odilbek has completed numerous advanced professional development programs abroad, organized by the authorities of Malaysia, India, and the European Union.

 

He is fluent in English, Russian, and Uzbek, with working proficiency in German and basic knowledge of Tajik.
