Who Decides? Leadership, Judgment, and Responsibility in a World of Smart Tools

The Frontier Talks seminar will provide a platform to examine the evolving role of leadership in an era of smart tools and AI-driven decision-making. Across countries and institutions, one fundamental question persists: who decides, and who owns the outcome? Leadership is not merely a title. It is the disciplined practice of making decisions others can trust, especially under pressure, with incomplete information, and with real-world consequences.

The session will feature Nino Gomarteli, Mentor & Leadership Trainer, and Graduate of Oxford Saïd Business School, with expertise in leadership, AI readiness, journalism, and management. Drawing on this multidisciplinary background, the discussion will explore how leaders can maintain credibility, accountability, and responsibility in environments where technology delivers instant answers, but human judgment remains essential.

The seminar will focus on practical insights for professionals in diplomacy, economics, law, business, and public service, emphasizing decision quality, communication that builds trust, and ownership of outcomes. Participants will also gain strategies for leveraging AI as an assistant without outsourcing their judgment, voice, or professional standards.
