From 21 to 24 April, Mushtariy Usmonova, Leading Research Fellow at the IAIS Centre for European Studies, took part in a specialised educational programme on AI technologies and modern methods of data analysis organised by Yandex for managers, teachers, and researchers of UWED. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in artificial intelligence and data analysis, as well as explore best practices for implementing AI solutions in education, research, and management.
Participation in the programme allowed them to gain valuable practical experience in the field of designing AI solutions for educational institutions and learn about successful cases of their application in the world practice. The course became especially important in the context of the rapidly growing interest in the integration of artificial intelligence into educational processes, as well as the need to understand the risks and challenges associated with its widespread use. Separate sessions were devoted to the legal and regulatory aspects of regulating AI technologies at the international level, which is important for further research and teaching.
The cultural component was also an important part of the programme. A rich sightseeing programme in Moscow was organised for the participants: they visited the capital’s iconic landmarks, got acquainted with the city’s historical heritage and its architectural monuments. This allowed the participants not only to deepen their professional knowledge, but also to get vivid impressions from the cultural exchange, contributing to the strengthening of professional and personal ties between representatives of the academic community.
Participation of the UWED delegation in the educational programme in Moscow was an important contribution to the development of professional competencies of IAIS researchers and expanded the horizons of scientific cooperation in the field of modern artificial intelligence technologies, as well as confirmed the University’s aspiration to actively implement innovative approaches in educational and scientific activities.
