On September 8, a working meeting was held between representatives of the U.S. Embassy and international researchers at IAIS. IAIS Visiting Research Fellows Maria Adele Carrai and Dr. Allison Evans, as well as the institute’s leadership and representatives from its research centers, took part in the discussion.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding academic and research cooperation, implementing joint projects, and the participation of American experts in UWED’s educational initiatives. IAIS representatives presented the institute’s main areas of activity and preparations for the “Think Road Forum” international conference. Special attention was given to the development of American studies, regional studies, collaboration within international research networks, and opportunities to utilize Fulbright programs.

Representatives of the U.S. Embassy confirmed their interest in further developing the partnership with IAIS. Among the possible areas of cooperation, they highlighted academic exchanges, specialized educational programs, professional English language instruction, as well as joint initiatives in the fields of research and expert analysis.
