Associate Research Fellow
Noah Gao is a researcher and practitioner specialising in geoeconomics, international business development, and global supply chains. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the Yenching Academy of Peking University and dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and French from Beijing Normal University.
Gao’s professional background bridges policy research, corporate strategy, and international cooperation. He is Founder and CEO of WisePromise Advisory, a boutique agency that supports leading Chinese technology firms in global market expansion, and Venture Partner at High Seas Investment, where he focuses on renewable energy and critical infrastructure projects. He has also served as Foreign Affairs Manager at the Chinese Olympic Committee, contributing to sports diplomacy and international cultural exchanges, and worked on AI industry development at AInnovation.
His research experience includes work with the Eurasian System Science Research Association (ESSRA), where he has authored over 50 reports on supply chains, critical minerals, and Eurasian connectivity, as well as with the Institute of Sustainable Development at Renmin University of China, where he led ESG and CSR consulting projects. He is also a Non-resident Fellow at the Beijing Club for International Dialogue, leading a widely read column on multipolarity and China’s role in globalisation.
Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, Gao has studied and trained internationally in Europe and the United States, with academic experiences at Harvard University, Georgetown University, Université Paris-Sud, and Imperial College Business School. His work reflects a strong commitment to fostering sustainable development, cross-border cooperation, and innovative approaches to global economic governance.
