Dilshod Olimov, Head of the Center for Energy Diplomacy and Geopolitics at IAIS, participated in a series of international events dedicated to the development of nuclear energy, energy security, and the peaceful use of nuclear technologies.

In Vienna, Dilshod Olimov participated in events held as part of the 70th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which brought together representatives from 181 countries. The conference addressed issues of global nuclear safety, the development of peaceful nuclear energy, and its role in contemporary energy transitions. On the sidelines of the event, the head of the Center also held a series of expert meetings and consultations focused on the prospects for international cooperation in the field of nuclear energy and energy diplomacy.

As part of his working program, he also visited the Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant in Slovakia as part of the Uzbek delegation. During the visit, participants learned about practical experience in operating nuclear power facilities and integrating them into the national power grid. Participation in these events provided an opportunity to study international approaches and practices relevant to the development and further expansion of Uzbekistan’s nuclear energy infrastructure.
