Call for Proposals: Access to Academic Databases and Research Platforms

The Institute for Advanced International Studies (IAIS) at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy is pleased to announce an open call for qualified suppliers to provide access to leading academic databases and research platforms. This initiative is implemented within the framework of the Public Research Institutes Modernization Program (PRIM) grant under the “Modernizing Uzbekistan National Innovation System (MUNIS)” project, funded by the Agency for Innovative Development and the World Bank Group.

 

As part of its institutional modernization plan “Building Institutional Capacity for Sustainable Futures: A Pathway to Competitiveness in Central Asia and Beyond”, IAIS is enhancing its research infrastructure to strengthen policy-relevant scholarship in areas such as sustainable development, water and climate diplomacy, energy diplomacy, and international trade.

 

Scope of Procurement

IAIS invites proposals for the acquisition of the following publications:

  • ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global: Humanities & Social Sciences
  • ProQuest – Politics Collection
  • JSTOR (Journal STORage) database
  • Oxford University Press – Journal Collection “HSS” (Humanities, Social Sciences, Law)

 

Eligibility Criteria

Interested suppliers must meet the following requirements:

  • Be authorized distributors or licensed providers of the requested publications with at least one year of experience;
  • Provide official price quotations inclusive of all fees and applicable taxes, along with delivery terms;
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, including platform accessibility, multi-user access, IP authentication, and customer support.

 

Application Process

Proposals should include:

  • Company profile and proof of authorization;
  • Detailed cost breakdown;
  • Delivery and access activation timeline.
