Head of the Asia-Pacific Research Center of the Institute for Advanced International Studies.

As part of this position, he is responsible for organizing the study of the region, developing and publishing analytical articles and materials, political information, as well as organizing seminars and conferences on topics relevant to the region.

During his career, he successfully worked in positions such as Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan (1993-1993), Head of the European States Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan (1996-1999), Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Germany (1999-2003), Head of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2005-2007), and he also successfully worked in such positions as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic (2007-2010), Ambassador Extraordinary and Autonomous of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation. Since 2021, he has been working as Deputy Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs of the Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
